My first sale!

My first sale! Yes I just posted off 3 books and a set of 5 cards to some friends I know through a game. Got paid and I feel really proud of myself! I'm glad that both my books and cards are being reconised and liked by others, not just myslef.

Cards

We had a workshop today and we were given a newspaper photo , I got a picture of an elephant swimming the ocean and a story popped into my head about a male elephant searching for his lost love. So I drew the ending and popped it on a card :P

Editorial. Sometimes we need help with little decisions, too.

This is an editorial project I've just completed. It tured out very sucessful! All I would need to do for it is to make the human more visible in the image and then it would be a winner ;)

Cards

These are some cards I've designed, the first one was inspired by two birds that i saw on the fence this evening, so cute they were touching beaks... not like that but yer imagination hehe! Im really loving Illustrator!
The second one is a modification from my Love Train card, I imbelished on Illustrator to complete the image as I didn't thing it was perfect.

Fabrics

Mini stars on navy, hearts and flowers, heart breasted owls, birdies, jars on shelve, grey cats on black, houses with gild sparkle, sailor navigator style

Brown squares with mini hearts, realistic cherries, deep red and pink mottled, deep pink red and orange mottled, brown red pink and burnt orange stripe with gold sparkle circles, butterflies with gold tails, baby pink with white hearts.

Moon books!

These are more books for the fund raising at Uni, I sold 2 of these books on the day, and also one of my fabric books sold in the Uni's art shop. Yay! So yer, I painted this cute picture, it sorta inspired from the story im going to do for my major project called The Moon by Grimm fairy tales. Except I've changed the characters to children like you see here. These children end up stealing the moon its awesome.
